The Dean is conveniently located 14 miles from Edinburgh. Frequent trains (18 mins) make getting into the city easy, during the day and night.

East Lothian is an area steeped in history, with stately homes including Gosford and Lennoxlove, and museums including the Museum of Flight at nearby Haddington.

The Dean is just five minutes walk to the coast. The local beaches are wild, sandy and and unspoiled. Take your time to explore Gullane and North Berwick’s best spots, the wooden bridge at Aberlady, as well as fabulous views of the Bass Rock at Seacliff.
